Dear John,
Voting is our fundamental right and a pillar of American democracy. Tell your Governor to count every vote.

This year, more people than ever voted by mail. Mail in ballots are still coming
in. We don’t know the election results yet, and that’s ok.
But in swing states like Arizona and Michigan, anti-democracy extremists are
showing up at polling places in an attempt to disrupt the vote count. Meanwhile,
Trump is trying to delegitimize valid ballot-counting processes. That’s why we
need your help, John, to demand your Governor ensure
all eligible votes are counted.
Tell your Governor and election officials: Every vote must be counted!

have taken to the streets, even going so far to storm poll counting locations to
try to undermine the process. They are using fear and intimidation tactics to
attack the democratic process.
Tensions are high. The process is taking longer than normal. But election officials who are trying to tally the votes should not be facing
fear and harassment.
Governors around the country need to stand up to protect vote counting to ensure
that every vote is counted -- safely!
Demand your Governor take action to ensure every vote is counted.

number of mail-in votes, required safety protocols to keep voters and poll
workers safe, and longer timelines for counting ballots.
But poll workers and state election officials have been working round-the-clock
to release results as quickly as possible without compromising accuracy. This is critical to preserve the integrity of the election.
Right now, we must give local election administrators time and space to do their
job. Every vote counts. Remind your Governor to uphold the voting process.
Tell your Governor: Every vote counts.
