Dear John,
I’m happy to announce that I have been re-elected by my friends and neighbors in the 157 th House District with 60% of the vote!

We made the purposeful decision in waiting to declare victory until all votes were counted in our district because we believe it’s critically important to counter the influence of Trump and allow our democratic process to fully play out. We must continue to insist that every single vote in Pennsylvania—and across the nation—is counted.

Serving for the past two years has been the honor of a lifetime, and I’m excited to get back to work fighting for a stronger, fairer, and more equitable Pennsylvania. I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who made my re-election possible, whether that was with their votes, volunteer hours, or personal contributions.

I am saddened that some truly inspiring Democratic State House candidates were not successful in their races, but I'm so proud of them for running strong campaigns and never backing down from our values.

There’s so much work to be done as we move forward together: bringing the virus under control, passing commonsense gun legislation, strengthening our environmental protections, raising the minimum wage, investing in our state’s infrastructure and public education. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far and hopeful about the future.
