Dear Friend,

It has been a long, exciting race. And I’m so proud that so many Pennsylvanians — especially in our Fourth District — exercised their right to vote.

It is my privilege to serve you in Congress. I am grateful that you have placed your trust in me to continue that service for another term.

Thank you to my remarkable staff, our volunteers, everybody who made calls, wrote texts, put up signs — you made this happen!

And, of course, thank you to my family — in particular, my brother Bob. It’s incredibly special for me to share this moment with my grandchildren, Aubrey, Ella, and Sawyer.

But this win is really about you.

Like so much else in our lives, the election looked a little different this year. And yet, as I visited polling places across the District, I was struck by what was familiar: Pennsylvanians coming together to make their voices heard.

And guess what — America is going to hear you.

So for now, we celebrate our race. But there’s still much to do.

The Presidential race is yet to be decided. And here’s the truth: So many in this country turned out that officials are still counting the ballots nationwide — and I don’t want to get ahead of the final results. So I’m just saying thank you for doing your part, and I’ll be sure to do mine. I’ll be sure your voice is heard. I’ll ensure every single vote is counted. Because when every vote and voice counts, decency wins.

It’s time to move away from politics and work to seriously govern. We need to rebuild our economy. We need to finally get this pandemic under control. And we must move away from the chaos and corruption that we’ve known for four long years--to begin to heal this nation.

Voting is an act of hope.

And I won’t let you down.
