Dear Fellow Republican -
Congratulations on our wonderful election night! Because of your hard work, we made history again and have firmly kept Tennessee a bright red state and the envy of the nation.
First, congratulations on a huge win for President Donald Trump in Tennessee. 4 years ago, President Trump received almost 1.6 million votes, and in 2020 received over 1.8 million votes and improved his winning percentage. While many states are still continuing the counting process, we are confident that when all legal votes are counted, President Trump will be re-elected. But for now, we wait on the process. In the last several hours, questions have been raised regarding irregularities in some of the battleground states. Rest assured that both the RNC and Trump campaign are fully engaged and are making all legal arguments to make sure all legal votes will be counted.
Congratulations as well to Senator-Elect Bill Hagerty on a fantastic victory receiving over 62% of the vote. Next, congratulations to our 7 Republican members of Congress and welcome to Representative-Elect Diana Harshbarger to the Tennessee delegation. The votes are still being counted, but it looks like the Republicans will adding several new members to Congress and have an outside shot of removing Nancy Pelosi.
Finally, a big thank you for the leadership of Governor Bill Lee, Lt. Governor Randy McNally, and Speaker Cameron Sexton for the guidance of Tennessee and our state legislature. Huge victories across Tennessee will ensure that Republicans will maintain our super-majority leadership in the General Assembly. The saying in Tennessee is that "it matters who governs." Tennessee is the best-managed state by many metrics, and the reason is you send wonderful, smart, and conservative representatives to Nashville.
There are too many people to thank in an email personally. Still, a collective thank you to the candidates, campaign staff and volunteers, campaign committees and staff, Republican County Chairs, executive committee members and volunteers of all the GOP organizations, and to the leadership of the TNGOP State Executive Committee.
Election night serves as the report on 2 years worth of fundraising, meetings, dinners, phone calls, miles driven, mail, texts, yard signs, and countless volunteer hours of dedicated Republicans that care about our country and state's direction. We believe that the values and vision of the Republican Party is the best way to govern and provides the greatest liberty for all people. The people of Tennessee are indeed blessed by your dedication and efforts for all Republicans.
