How "Conservative Women Vote" empowered women across the country.

Conservative Women Vote

Dear John,

As America celebrated 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment this year and voted in the presidential election earlier this week, the Network of enlightened Women empowered conservative women through the Conservative Women Vote campaign. NeW made sure conservative women were part of the conversation. As part of this campaign, women shared on social media the issues they care about most and why they vote.

Influencers, leaders, and friends of NeW encouraged conservative women as they wore our “Conservative Women Vote” t-shirt, including Katie Pavlich, Fox News Contributor; Kay Coles James, President of The Heritage Foundation; Rebecca Kleefisch, former Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin; Devon Mirsky; Director of PragerFORCE; Ashley MacLeay, DC State Board of Education Member and Director of External Affairs for Independent Women’s Forum; Kelsey Bolar, Senior Policy Analyst for the Independent Women’s Forum; and Katie Yoder, Senior Content Manager for National Review.

Through this initiative, NeW women learned about the history of the women who fought to secure our right to vote and gained confidence to speak up and show those around them that they are proud to vote as conservative women.

One NeW woman, Margaret Reid, NeW Alumna and Co-Founder of the NeW Twin Cities Professional Network chapter, was published in The Detroit News ([link removed]) for her piece on why she votes as a conservative woman. In the piece she writes,

“Democrats speak to different demographics under the assumption that voters only care about a small selection of issues. They are missing the bigger picture. Conservative women know this. We listen to the facts and vote for candidates who will support policies that align with our values. We know that all issues are women’s issues, not just women’s health, abortion, or equal pay.”

NeW continues to look for new ways to support conservative women. Thank you for your friendship to NeW.

Sincerely,
Kathryn Alford
