We put race first. 

We catalyze movement building for racial justice.

What a year. Covid-19. Protests for racial justice. Voter suppression during national and local elections. We know you have been through it, and we are here going through it with you. 

We know that you don’t work on a 4 or 8 year election cycle, and neither does Race Forward. 

We have been creating racial justice strategies for 40 years, and we will be here doing what we do best in 2021 and beyond—whatever the results of the election—because structural racism will not disappear with a change of administration. 

This summer, Black young people led a multi-racial movement for racial justice that transcended anything I have seen in my lifetime. In the throes of Covid-19 and police shootings, this movement catalyzed the nation and gave us hope and power. 

Race Forward was there to support the Black Lives Matter protests, and we continue to support the institutions that can put demands for racial justice into action. 

But we cannot do it without your continued support.

Race Forward imagines a just, multiracial, democratic society, free from oppression and exploitation, in which people of color thrive with power and purpose.

Now is when we double down. Now is when we galvanize our people, our movements, and our country to chart ahead—together. 

Our vision of a just, multiracial, democratic society is not a pipe dream. Racial inequities are neither random nor natural; they were intentionally created over the course of United States history. In partnership with communities, organizations, and sectors, Race Forward builds strategies to advance racial justice in our policies, institutions, and culture. 

Thank you for all that you already do in the name of racial justice. Thank you for your past support. As I already said, we have all been going through it together, and this year I am going to ask you to stretch with a significant donation.
