The first-ever recruited Justice Democrat is going to Congress.

Justice Democrats

John,

Cori Bush made history this week, becoming the first Black woman elected to represent Missouri in Congress. She’s the first-ever candidate we recruited to run for office as a Justice Democrat — and we’re so proud of Cori’s monumental victory.

Six years ago, police officers maced Cori in Ferguson as she helped spark a global movement. Three months from now, she’ll be holding police accountable as a member of Congress. Cori will be representing nurses, Black Lives Matter organizers, working-class families, and so many others in Congress. And she defeated an entrenched 19-year establishment incumbent in the August primary to make it possible. This is what we can do together.

None of this would be possible without the overwhelming grassroots support for Cori’s campaign and our work at Justice Democrats. Can you split a $3 donation between Cori and Justice Democrats right now so we can keep the progressive movement in Congress going strong?

Contribute $3

We can’t wait for Cori to get sworn into Congress and keep this fight going on Capitol Hill. We’ll be right there with Cori, fighting for progressive policies and working to elect more candidates like her.

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats

Do not worry if you cannot afford to make a contribution — we understand that this is a difficult time. If you’re struggling, you can find a food bank here. We appreciate everything you do to keep our movement strong.
