Trump and the GOP think they can steal victory in North Carolina, so they can lock in their obstructionist Senate majority and solidify another four-year reign of terror in the White House. Trump is leading Biden by more than 75,000 votes in this crucial state, and Democratic Senate challenger Cal Cunningham is losing by almost 100,000.

But if we count every single vote, Democrats can absolutely still win in North Carolina. The state board of elections reports that more than 116,200 mail-in ballots have yet to be counted -- ballots we know could be heavily Democratic. Plus, 15,336 absentee ballots were preliminarily rejected due to signature errors -- but could still be counted if the voters verify their identity within 8 days.
