Returns in several swing states -- including Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania -- continue to fluctuate as election authorities process the remaining ballots, especially mail-in and absentee votes. Large portions of these ballots are breaking for former vice president Joe Biden -- marking the "blue shift" that experts predicted we'd see in the days following November 3.

We should emphasize: what's happening now means our democratic institutions are working. And it's our job to let them work.

But Donald Trump doesn't want accuracy -- he wants to win by any means necessary. That's why he illegitimately claimed victory on Election Night, telling supporters of the ballot count, "This is a major fraud in our nation." And in an email early yesterday morning, Mike Pence alleged that "it's only a matter of time before the Democrats try to steal the Election and manipulate the results."

This election has taken a toll on everyone, and Democrats are signaling they're about ready to throw in the towel. But if you want to ensure Trump doesn't cling to power, we need your support right now so this process can get settled fair and square.
