set to discuss small biz lending, consumer access rulemakings
The CFPB's
Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC) is set to meet Nov. 18, alongside the bureau's
other advisory councils, to discuss two of the bureau's ongoing efforts related
to implementing the Dodd-Frank Act: Section 1071 for small business lending
data collection, and section 1033 for consumer access to financial data.

Vehicle
sales slow in October; NAFCU expects sales to remain steady
Total vehicle
sales slowed in October, falling from 16.3 million annualized units to 16.2 million
during the month. NAFCU Chief Economist and Vice President of Research Curt Long
noted that although monthly sales levels were down 3.3 percent from the previous
year, sales had improved modestly from September if seasonal adjustments are ignored.
