No time to waste, friend.
We’ve got a lot to fight for, and every day it seems like President Trump and his administration make it harder and harder to get anything done.
We’ve put up with breaches of basic Democratic norms, hateful speech, repeated attacks on women’s health, the demonizing of immigrant communities, the sheer ignorance of facts – I could go on and on.
And what’s even worse? Trump is proud of everything he’s done. He parades around Washington like a petulant child, demanding he get his way, and ignoring sensible voices of others. Make no mistake: he is a threat to progress, a threat to democracy, and a threat to our country.
But you better believe that I’m fighting tooth and nail, every single day, against the GOP’s disastrous policies. I’m fighting for a higher wage, affordable housing, and an end to discrimination. I’m fighting for quality, affordable health care, paid child leave, and an end to war. I’m fighting for people like you.
That’s why I need you to pitch in $5, or whatever you can, to help me get the resources we need to fight for what’s right.
We’ve got a long way to go and the Trump administration sure doesn’t make it easy, but I believe this grassroots team is powerful and together, we’ll make progress for everyone.
