Dear John,

The eyes of the world are on the United States. Help ensure every vote is counted.

The next few hours, days, and weeks will determine our next president. The race to 270 electoral votes is close -- and all voices must be heard. Protect the results of the election: Sign up for a mobilization in your community.

The counts could drag on for days in key states like Pennsylvania and North Carolina. This is a crucial moment for the American people to come together and show our leaders that we will stand up for our democracy.

That is why we need your help, John. We can’t just sit by and let officials rush the vote count. We have to protect the election results.

Join an action in your community: Protect the election results and make sure every vote is counted.

Even though the polls closed nearly 24 hours ago, tallying the votes takes time.

Many states don’t allow mail-in ballots to be counted until Election Day. So as of now, election officials are still processing the results. They may not be finished for days. And in many states, ballots that were mailed by Election Day but arrive at election offices a few days from now still count.

Free and fair elections are a cornerstone of American democracy. It’s paramount that we stand together and not allow the election to be called until every voice is heard.

Sign up to attend an event in your area to protect the election results and our democracy.

The will of the people must be heard. Our democracy must remain intact.

We’re at a critical moment in history. By showing up in your community, you can demand our leaders honor the valid results of the election and help ensure every vote is counted.

Can we count on you to protect the results?

Take to the streets with your community! Join an event near you now.

Standing with you,
Liz Butler,
Vice president of organizing and strategic alliances,
