Team --
In just a few moments, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign for United States Senate in North Carolina. Let me explain why this request is so important -- especially today:
We are only a few hours away from closing the books on our mid-month fundraising goal. All of the support we can muster by midnight will determine how much we can invest in growing our team and accomplishing all the things we need to do to win our race in the months ahead.
Here’s the truth -- we will stay on course to hit our mid-month goal if enough folks like you step up in the next couple of hours. I believe we can get there.
The thing is, I am refusing to take a single dollar from corporate PACs. I am choosing to build this people-powered movement the right way -- by asking folks like you to take ownership of our campaign.
Unlike our Republican opponent, we’re relying on people like you giving whatever they can to support our campaign because they believe it’s time to defeat the political corruption and gridlock in Washington.
Make a contribution of any amount before midnight to help us take back North Carolina and bring Democrats one step closer to controlling the Senate:
The polls, the press, the energy on the ground, and even the actions of our opponent and the dark money network backing him are all telling us we have real momentum in this race. But we must grow and sustain it.
That’s why it’s so important we keep hitting our fundraising goals, because we know Mitch McConnell and Thom Tillis are going to have an endless amount of secret cash to come after us. So, I’m asking:
Can you add a donation -- of whatever amount is meaningful to you -- ahead of our mid-month fundraising deadline at midnight? Anything you can give will make a huge difference for our team.
With your help, we can continue our strong efforts to build a team that can win this election. So long as we stick together over the next year and a half, there is no telling what we can accomplish -- and no amount of dark money Republicans can spend to stop us.
Thanks for all you do.
