Team, what a whirlwind. I’m sure like me you’re still processing the events from last night. But it isn’t over. We must demand that every vote be counted. We've done a ton of work to arrive at this moment, and we can’t let up now. In these moments, nothing inspires me more than the work of our people. Let me tell you a bit about it:

UWDA PAC was something we had never tried before. Through UWDA PAC, we told powerful stories of voters that shaped the narrative of this election. And because we doubled down on our greatest asset as a movement — ourselves — we can proudly say that immigrant youth have been a key part of achieving historic voter turnout in battleground states.

We ran our largest digital ad program ever, reaching voters in key battleground states over 58 million times. Our digital ads stood out from the typical election ads because they told the stories that only our movement could tell - of first time voters who were voting for their undocumented family members. We set new records for turning out our communities to the polls, especially when it came to first-time voters and Latinx voters under 30. And for the first time ever, we released a comprehensive voting guide to help voters elect real champions for our people.

Our Here to Stay Squad of volunteers drove massive turnout, sending over 600,000 texts and making over 132,000 calls in key battleground states Arizona, Florida, Texas, Colorado, Minnesota, Michigan, North Carolina, and California.

These incredible numbers are just the beginning of what’s possible for our community and for the future of the UWDA PAC. No matter who ends up in the White House in January of 2021, we will count on each other, we will fill each other with hope, and no matter what happens, we’ll have each others’ back.
