There’s a significant chunk of votes yet to be counted in this election. History has shown we can expect a “blue shift” -- meaning the last ballots to be certified will likely lean Democratic.
Trump and his allies have a strong incentive to make sure those ballots are buried. It’s why they did their best to destroy USPS in the lead-up to the election, and it’s why Trump has threatened to throw the election to the Supreme Court -- where conservatives hold a rock-solid majority.
It’s why we need to fight, harder than ever, to make sure our voices are heard.
Unfortunately, because of the lies Trump has spread about voter fraud, millions of Americans may join the president in never wanting to see those final blue ballots counted. That’s why every citizen who sees those votes as legitimate needs to speak up right now -- or else the anti-democratic voices of the far-right could win, even though the people have said otherwise.
