From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Florida’s 21st District for re-electing me as your representative in Congress.

Make no mistake: this is your win — a win for progress, for science, for reproductive rights, for equality, and for so much more.

I am so grateful for your votes and support, and hope you’ll stay with me in our work. Now that Election Day is over, we must roll up our sleeves to rebuild trust in our leaders. Our continued dedication is what will make our government work.

As we continue to wait for the results on many close races around the country, including the presidency, please remember to only draw conclusions once every vote has been counted. We must be in this for the long fight.

We are facing really big issues in the next few years — from the climate crisis to the COVID-19 pandemic. But we can weather these storms and improve our nation, together.
