I officially got the news that I have been re-elected to serve Washington's 1st district in the House, and I am so happy and proud of this incredible grassroots team.

It may have been my name on the ballot, but it was you who got me here.

Every moment you stepped up, every time you volunteered, every dollar you chipped in ensured that we will keep fighting for our children, families, and communities -- and make no mistake: Our fight is not over.

Right now, we are still facing immense challenges. We still must secure COVID-19 relief for the essential workers who have kept the entire country afloat during this pandemic. We still must expand the Child Tax Credit for the families who need support now more than ever. We still must defend the Affordable Care Act for every single American whose health care depends on it.

But because of you -- and the unending support you gave this campaign -- our fight continues.

So today, we rest. Tomorrow, we get to work -- together.

You have been with me every step of the way, and I could not have done this without you.

I look forward to taking on this next term with you by my side, fighting for what matters most.
