Hi,

We remain determined to win the White House, and with the votes and states being
tallied, we are increasingly confident Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be
declared the winners. Don’t lose hope!

Until that moment, there is still a lot we don’t know about the election
outcomes in many other races. Our community and our supporters turned out in
record numbers and our fight isn’t over — nor is this fight just about the
election. It’s about the next chapter in our history.

So, I ask you to stay united with us now. Our community always finds ways to
advance LGBTQ rights — we will continue to keep advancing our mission — changing
our nation’s culture and securing our rights toward equality for all. We will
need to gather our strength for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Many of you have asked what you can do today. Here are five ways to stay involved:

1. Tell us how you’re doing.
[[link removed]] These are stressful times, and we want to know how we can best support you.
2. RSVP for our Post-Election Briefing.
[[link removed]] Tomorrow at 6pm ET our team of experts will go live to review the returns,
what they mean and where we go from here.
3. Keep checking our blog. [[link removed]] Sarah McBride became the first transgender state senator, making history!
Mark Kelly won in Arizona, where we mobilized over one million Equality
Voters. And the House remains pro-equality with new leaders joining the
ranks including the LGBTQ Caucus growing to nine members with the victories
of HRC-endorsed candidates Ritchie Torres and Mondaire Jones. We have won
some key races — and we expect more to come.
4. Renew your HRC membership for 2021.
[[link removed]] With battles ahead in the courts, and in Congress and statehouses, we are
counting on your support to protect equality.
5. Start a monthly gift to HRC.
[[link removed]] Your ongoing monthly support will provide the sustained funding it takes to
make sure every last vote is counted, block anti-LGBTQ legislation
nationwide, fight in the courts, protect your healthcare and be there in
your community.

We know we will prevail in advancing our mission. We always have and we always
do! The LGBTQ community has endured setbacks, discrimination and painful
situations throughout our history and, even at the toughest moments, we have
prevailed by being open about who we are, and what we want. Our collective
strength and resilience are part of what makes us a force.

This time will be no different. I urge you to rise with us and channel your
energy into action.

If you are able, please renew your membership. Let’s remain united and prepare
to use our voices to demand equality for all.

Friend,

Well, we always knew this was going to be a long night — but, we must keep the
faith.

In the days ahead, we will stay vigilant until all ballots are counted and every
voice is heard nationwide. In the meantime, we have retained a crucial
pro-equality majority in the U.S. House of Representatives and elected many more
pro-equality candidates up and down the ballot. As more news breaks in key
races, you can continue to follow the latest news at www.hrc.org/blog [[link removed]] .

While we wait to receive complete and final numbers on the presidential election
and other key Senate, House and state legislative races, our paths to victory
still exist. Your hard work got us this far. You worked harder than ever before.

With COVID-19, more absentee ballots and votes still uncounted, we know a lot is
still unknown.

Regardless of the outcome, know this: We will keep fighting for what is right
and just. And the Human Rights Campaign will be here for you every step of the way, and
your safety and wellbeing is what matters most to us. Our work needs to continue and it will — together.

We will be in touch with more information as we confirm it in the days and weeks
ahead. Please stay healthy and safe, and stay positive. Thank you for your
continued support.

In Unity,
