This election season, Americans across race, place of origin, and ZIP code turned out in record numbers to stand together. Because of that, the numbers coming out of battleground states right now look good for a Biden win.

People’s Action’s work–your work–was essential to Biden’s expected win. Our deep canvassing program will account for significant portions of Biden’s margins in battleground states.

Here’s just one example: In Wisconsin, Biden is beating Trump by about 20,000 votes–where our members on our national team, Citizen Action of Wisconsin, and Progress North had more than 26,000 highly effective deep canvassing conversations with conflicted voters.

In other words, you played a defining role in delivering this win.

All across the country, our volunteers and organizers threw in together to build a multiracial democracy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few. We’re united in our support for the policies that will help people survive this crisis, like Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, a Homes Guarantee, and cancelling student debt. In addition to deep canvassing to defeat Trump, we elected dozens of our leaders down-ballot. We’ll report on those wins in the coming days.

First, we have to defeat Trump, and after the votes are counted, you better believe we’re going to fight like hell for the things we need.

There are millions of votes left to count, but Trump knows he is losing. You and your support for People’s Action’s work put these wins on the board for the multiracial working class. Thank you.
