Friends,

Our worst fear has been realized: it’s past Election Day, and Trump and his cronies are trying to stop mail-in ballots from being counted.

And as CBS News reports, this disproportionately affects some of our most marginalized communities. Polling shows that voters of color are most likely to vote by mail -- despite their lack of trust in the system.

The reason for avoiding the polls? Research shows that POC voters are declining to vote in person given the pandemic. And that’s a valid fear, given that our country has utterly failed to protect our most marginalized communities during the pandemic: For example, 4 in 10 Black Americans know someone who has died from COVID -- double the rate for white Americans.

Their distrust of the system isn’t surprising either. For months, Trump and his cronies have been crying wolf about the evils of vote-by-mail and are weaponizing a right-wing judiciary to prevent Democrats from being heard. And they’re still not stopping.

We MUST stop the GOP in their quest to disqualify votes from our most marginalized communities. We refuse to stand for fascism. Join us now before it’s too late -- please confirm you’re with us:

Should every vote be counted?
