What we accomplished last night was a stunning victory, and one that we did against all odds. |
Last night’s victory is also one that has incredible importance for North Carolina families: Republicans will hold the US Senate. |
We were outraised and outspent, but North Carolina voters said last night that the truth still matters. |
And they’re sending me back to Washington as a result. |
Susan and I couldn’t be more thankful for your support: whether you contributed by voting, by telling your neighbors about our race, praying for us, financially contributing, or just sending encouraging words -- you are the reason we won this difficult race. |
And now, we will be in position to deliver on the promises I have made to you for another six years. |
This next term, I look forward to confirming more conservative judges, passing more tax cuts, securing our border, continuing the rebuild of our military, and supporting North Carolina families. |
I hope to make you proud these next six years – because my job is fighting for you. |
