First, I hope you and yours are safe and well today. We’ve been through so much.

Votes in this year’s elections are still being counted. As the will of the American people is revealed over the coming days, it is absolutely essential that the principle that every vote counts be upheld. Every vote must be counted.

To that end, the National Wildlife Federation is working with our partners and affiliates to promote proper vote counting, to oppose unjust and undemocratic efforts that seek to throw out votes or impose arbitrary and unprecedented restrictions on what votes are counted, and to ensure that the 2020 election reflects the will of the American people.

We’re undertaking this effort because it is the right thing to do.
