Friend,

It’s hard to believe it’s been two whole years since we flipped this seat blue for the first time in more than a century. I was overwhelmed with gratitude that day, but somehow, my heart is even more full today. 

To every single member of this team – whether you donated, volunteered, signed a petition, got out to vote, or got your friends and family members to the polls with you – thank you so much. I truly wouldn’t be here today without your incredible support. This victory is all of ours, and I am thrilled to share it with you.

It’s easy to get caught up in the stress and excitement of a campaign. But for me, it’s this next part that’s really exciting: I get to go to work serving our community and fighting for the things we all care about. Thanks to you, we are going to protect affordable health care, take meaningful action on climate change, and bring our country through this pandemic stronger than ever.

I hope you’ll keep in touch. Let me know if there’s ever an issue weighing on your mind or a challenge your family needs help facing, and I will do my best to help. Because that’s what our country is all about: lending a helping hand when you can and moving forward together.
