Friend —

Tom is the strongest Democratic candidate for president on climate.

Here’s why: Tom has pledged to declare the climate crisis a national emergency on day one of his presidency. His plan will also invest in justice-based solutions while increasing jobs nationwide — and we have the numbers to prove it:

$6 trillion invested into climate reform from public and private funds.
46 million new jobs over 10 years.
Millions more Americans employed in the broader economy.

Tom already has a proven record of creating jobs while addressing the climate crisis. In California, he closed a corporate tax loophole that generated $1.7 billion for schools to pay teachers and become energy efficient; this created over 19,000 jobs alone. And as president, that’s what he’ll continue doing.

His new proposal won’t just create more jobs — it’ll create better jobs. Tom will fight with unions to protect workplace organizing, collective bargaining, and a living wage of at least $15 per hour. Read more to see how it’s possible. [link removed]

To address the climate crisis with the urgency it deserves, we need to rebuild the United States — literally. Let’s get started!

Thanks,

Team Tom
