Dear Friend,
Though it wasn’t a complete surprise, given the fact supporters out raised the opposition by something like 400 to 1 (!), I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t upset about the fact last night witnessed four states legalize marijuana.
These were very tough races from the very beginning – the pro side brought millions from dark money groups while the anti side ran hyperlocal and grassroots supported campaigns.
And though we are still making sense of the numbers, I am not without hope.
