BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Larry Klayman, a Boca Raton resident and attorney who is identified by Wikipedia as "an American right-wing activist lawyer and former U.S. Justice Department prosecutor," is suing popular online political website POLITICO, claiming libel and slander.

In the suit, filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court, Klayman writes: "On or about September 6, 2020, Defendants, acting in concert and conspiring with Bar officials of the District of Columbia, all of whom are of the same political ideology as Defendants, published a false, misleading, deceptive, and defamatory article, with actual and constitutional malice, about Plaintiff which was intentionally and maliciously intended to severely harm not just Mr. Klayman's personal and professional reputations but also to severely harm his public interest advocacy as the founder of both Judicial Watch, Inc., and now Freedom Watch, Inc., both ethics organizations whose mission is to promote and protect ethics in government and the legal system as a whole."

Klayman writes this about Politico and reporter Josh Gerstein, also named in the suit.
