I wanted to share this statement below from the Protect The Results Coalition that the national mobilization is not being called for today, but we are standing ready to mobilize if needed.
That does not prevent you from moving forward on your own local action, but I would encourage you to consider the rational discussed here as you decide whether or not to do so.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss.
Jonah

Protect The Results Coalition Remains Vigilant But Not Yet Launching National Mobilization As Millions Of Votes Are Counted
Bipartisan Coalition Of 165 Groups Remains Ready To Mobilize
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, as millions of votes are counted and with Joe Biden’s lead in several key states growing, the Protect the Results coalition is announcing that it will not be activating the entire national mobilization network today, but remains ready to activate if necessary. While the coalition will not be activating its national network, some local organizers may still hold “Count Every Vote” events in their community.
Right now, election officials are continuing to count millions of votes across the country, Biden is ahead in the Electoral College and the popular vote, and the outcome of this election will be decided by the voters, not Donald Trump. Now, we must be patient and wait as election officials continue to count those ballots.
It’s clear from his false claims last night that Donald Trump is desperate and knows he’s losing. The American people will decide who our next President will be, not Donald Trump.
While the coalition will not activate nationwide events today, we know that Trump may say and do anything he can to cling to power—and that’s why the entire coalition will remain vigilant in the days and weeks ahead. We are ready to mobilize if needed to ensure every vote is counted and respected.
At each and every step in the process until then, the more than 165 progressive and conservative advocacy groups, labor unions, government watchdogs, and grassroots networks that are part of the Protect the Results coalition urge election officials and the media to not only keep the public informed as results are certified, but to also immediately combat any disinformation about the results.
