As I’m sure you’re well aware, last night we came up short.

Even though we didn’t win in the 8th District, there is good news. Vice President Biden won in Wisconsin.

While I won’t be your next representative, I’m hopeful that Vice President Biden will win the White House and make Wisconsin’s working families a priority.

I want to thank all of you for your tireless support. We couldn’t have done it without you.

I’ve lived in the 8th District all of my life, and I’m not going anywhere. I’ll continue to use my platform and my voice to advocate for the change Northeast Wisconsinites deserve.

As someone who worked multiple jobs all of my life, I know we need to rework our economy to create good quality jobs. That goes hand in hand with better education and expanded health care access.

So, again, thank you to the volunteers, grassroots donors, and those who trusted me with their vote.
