What a night!

I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting this campaign and for helping spread Vern’s positive message and vision for the future. We ran a campaign on Vern’s record of accomplishments and the enthusiasm was simply off the charts.

Peeling back the curtain and taking a deep dive into the numbers reveal the magnitude of last night’s blowout:

*Vern’s 11-point win over Margaret Good was the LARGEST re-election victory in a race expected to be competitive since Vern crushed Christine Jennings in 2008.

*Vern’s 53,000+ vote margin ECLIPSED his 33,000 vote victory and 9-point win against David Shapiro in 2018.

*Vern defeated Margaret Good by 5 percent in her OWN STATE LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT among the people that know her best.

*Vern released accurate polls to the press while Good’s claim that her polls showed a virtual tie were discredited.

Although surprising that Margaret did not make the traditional election-night phone call to Vern as other opponents have done, this race wasn’t about her. It was about you, and moving our district forward with a common-sense agenda broadly backed by the people.
