While the presidential election and other races are too close to call, we have a lot of victories to be proud of — made possible by the determination, grit and heart of all of you.
Victories like Arizona don't happen overnight. It's taken more than a decade of local organizing and engagement to flip the state. There, and nationally, we are building toward a reflective democracy that we can all be proud of!
Just last night, over 100 New American candidates won their elections! Thanks to historic voter turnout from our communities, NALpista candidates like Zulma Lopez in Georgia, Samba Baldeh in Wisconsin, and Cecelia González in Nevada have broken the mold of what it looks like to run, win and lead.
These trailblazing candidates are part of the growing number of #PeopleLikeUs in office proving what we've known all along: that we are the leaders our communities have been waiting for.
Now as we wait for all election results to be finalized, we remain as committed as ever to ensuring every vote is counted and every voice is heard. We know that our movement is ready to keep organizing, engaging our communities, and working to shake up politics as usual.
