[1]Women's March
John,
Across the country, Americans turned out in record numbers at the polls
last night to make their voices heard – and the message was loud and
clear.
Voters clearly chose Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to tackle the challenges
we face from COVID-19 to record unemployment. Our total vote advantage
will be 7 million, and thanks to all of us, Biden is flipping states from
red to blue including Arizona and Wisconsin.
We knew that we wouldn't have the final results quickly – and it’s what we
prepared for. There are still MANY votes left to count and local officials
are hard at work counting them now. But every hour that goes by moves us
closer to the inevitable, that Joe Biden will be our next Commander in
Chief. Independent election experts have validated these results.
Politicians can say whatever they want, but it’s the will of the voters
that decides. And the will of the people is clear: we will demand that
every vote is counted and swear in a government of, by, and for the
people.
We are winning and it’s up to all of us to uphold the democratic transfer
of power as we have since our country's founding.
We must be patient, but we are confident and proud looking at the results.
Right now we must hold steady, tune out the noise, and continue to ensure
that every vote is counted.
[ [link removed] ]Take the first step and add your name today to our petition demanding
every vote is counted. Together, we are going to protect the results of
the presidential election and swear in a government elected by the people.
We are ready to move on from this chapter and come together as a feminist
movement to tackle the very real issues our country faces.
We are winning.
Rachel
