Yesterday, the voters cast their ballots, and I was re-elected for a second term to the Michigan House of Representatives! Thanks to your support , whether it was a donation, a door shift, calls made, or post cards written, you helped me get over the finish line, and allow me to representing District 40 in Lansing. 

 

I am excited to join my colleagues again to continue fighting for Michiganders. I want to extend my congratulations to every member of our Democratic caucus, and extend special recognition to the new members who have been elected to serve with us. Together, we will continue fighting for the priorities of all Michigan families. We will overcome this pandemic by making sure every Michigander has access to the healthcare they need, and work to keep everyone safe. And we will move forward on our priorities, from investing in public education, building and repairing our roads, or protecting our clean air and water.

 

This election was an important test of our ability to come together and make our voices heard. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, and the road will not always be easy. I got involved in public service, because I believe that we can do better than what we have had over the last four years. I believe that Michigan is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Together, we can make sure Michigan is the place where everyone can succeed. That's why I am excited to continue working for you in Lansing, and making sure your voice is heard loud and clear.
