Good morning, friend.

As we take the time for every single vote to be counted, I want to take a moment to congratulate all 55 of the local candidates I endorsed on the amazing races they ran, and to 42 of those candidates on winning their elections.

Together we increased the Democratic majority in our State Senate, maintained the majority on the Public Regulation Commission and Grant County Commission, and flipped control of the Socorro County Commission to Democrats. We elected educators, community organizers, veterans, health care professionals, and scientists. I know their leadership will make a real difference.

It's true that we didn't win every race -- despite the hard work those candidates, their volunteers, and their community put in. But with your continued support, we'll be back to fight another day.

I am enormously proud of the unifying and positive campaigns that Democrats ran in this election cycle, from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, to Ben Ray Luján, Deb Haaland, Xochitl Torres Small, Teresa Leger Fernandez, and the candidates I was proud to endorse in state and local races up and down the ballot. We have so much to be proud of.
