Friend,
You’ve likely heard the news: Trump is acting as he promised. While Americans across the nation turned out in record numbers to vote and several states are completing their vote counts, Trump is trying to silence their voices and prevent ballots from being counted.
Amidst this chaos, I’m feeling anxious but also a bit hopeful.
I know that we will get through this. We have endured traumatic family separations. We have had our lives violently taken from us. Our mosques have been vandalized, burned and bombed. Our families have endured sickness, death and hardship from COVID-19. Last night, a clear majority of Americans rejected all of this .
Now, we must stay patient and persistent. We are with you.
We invite you to join us for a check-in call. Tomorrow, Muslim Advocates will host a virtual discussion with America’s leading policymakers and advocates to discuss where we are and the future of our nation and our communities.
“Where We Go from Here”
Thursday, November 5th
6pm ET / 5pm CT / 3pm PT

They represent the future and give me hope.
I remain inspired by the millions of voters and brave Muslim elected officials who believe with every fiber of their being that a better future is possible. So, while we anxiously await the final presidential election results, let us pause and celebrate — and come together and take stock of where we are.
Join us for a community check-in on Thursday, November 5. Sign up here [[link removed]] .
