John,

Last night was one for the history books. We have shattered turnout records. And while Tom McClintock currently holds a small lead districtwide, Brynne Kennedy leads in Placer County -- home to almost half all registered voters in our district. There are tens of thousands of votes waiting to be counted in elections offices right now, and tens of thousands more on their way.

For almost two years, we have gone toe-to-toe with Tom McClintock's dark money donors. Now, this race will be decided by late-arriving mail and provisional ballots -- both of which normally advantage Democratic candidates. The job before us is simple -- to make sure every single vote gets counted.

But to do that, we need to ask you to chip in to help our vote counting efforts. This could be the difference between winning and losing.

We have come too far to let up now. For the sake of our voters, our district, and our democracy, we need to make sure every vote is counted -- CA-04 is counting on us.

Thanks for your hard work, John. We'll keep you looped in as we learn more.
