Dozens of our candidates are celebrating victories today, while just as many wait for election results.

In American elections, there are no winners until we count every vote. Because the COVID-19 pandemic is still an active threat, we've understandably seen an unprecedented amount of mail-in-votes.
So whether voters turned out early, mailed their ballot, or made a plan to vote in-person on election day -- every voter deserves for their vote to be counted. That is the foundation of our democracy.

While we may not have final election results in hand, we do know what the American people want: we want justice, we want freedom, and we want the foundational right to govern our own bodies.

We've spent four years watching anti-choice politicians like Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell attack our freedoms, so it's time for them to sit back while the voters make their voices heard. The process of democracy is about listening to the will of the people, even if it takes a little longer to count every vote.
