There is no going back to normal. The "normal" of pre-2016 brought us Trump. Do you really want to go back to that? As ballot counts continue, we will be in the streets regardless of outcome on Saturday.

Angelenos from all corners of our city are coming out, whether in cars or on foot, to celebrate our diversity and our unity. We are an alliance of labor unions, community organizations, youth and student groups and advocacy organizations. We are joining together in a national call to action on Saturday, November 7th to Defend Each Other, Demand Democracy.

Before the election, we mobilized our communities to fight neoliberal capitalism, led by a white supremacist president and upholding a system that values profit over the lives of our neighbors. Now we have come together because we believe it’s time to defend democracy – demand democracy – and to defend one another, especially Black, Indigenous, immigrant and communities of color, from Trump’s coup and takeover of our democracy.

Saturday, November 7th:

  • 9AM Meet us at MacArthur Park, march to Pershing Square
  • 11AM Meet at Pershing Square, march to Grand Park

NOTE: Some of our organizations are starting earlier, at other locations, to arrive at Pershing Square by 11AM

***All participants are required to wear a mask and follow CDC social distancing guidelines***
