Dear John,

Thank you so much for giving me the honor to continue representing California’s 13th Congressional District.

I am humbled to know that I have such a strong grassroots team by my side. Whether it was chipping in money, or having my back as I fought off the Trump administration’s dangerous agenda I could always count on you.

Every single day I promise to fight harder than ever to bring about real, lasting change for everyone. I promise to fight for our progressive agenda until our government is truly one of the people, by the people, and for the people.

And — we can’t let our guard down.

Republicans across the country will continue to push regressive policies in an effort to turn the clock back. They will continue to peddle dishonest, hateful rhetoric to divide us and will rely on their conservative Supreme Court majority to enforce their cruel, conservative agenda.

So while the election may be behind us, millions of lives are still on the line and our fight is only going to get harder.

I’m confident that as long as we stick together we will be able to win the fights the GOP brings our way. And it’s because of you that I’m not worried one bit about whatever tricks the GOP will try to pull.

I have been honored to serve the most progressive district in the nation. Words cannot express how grateful I am for your support.
