There are still votes left to count, but this is disgusting:
For the 3rd time in 6 presidential elections, the winner of the popular vote could lose the Electoral College.
Let’s be clear, John: every single vote has to be counted — but no matter who wins, it’s a national disgrace that the Electoral College suppresses the will of the majority.
This isn’t over yet. Joe Biden still has a very real path to 270 Electoral College votes, but we need to fight for a country where he wouldn’t have to.
Donald Trump and the Republican party would never win another election if Americans had a fair chance to cast their ballot. That’s why we’ve been on the ground, supporting candidates who could have the chance to protect voting rights, end partisan gerrymandering, and more.
