In recent weeks, we’ve seen the Hard Left double down on their dangerous policy agenda, particularly at the recent Democratic Presidential debate in my hometown of Houston, Texas. Whether it’s open borders, socialized medicine, or gutting the 2nd Amendment instead of focusing on violent criminals.

I recently met with progressive activist Alyssa Milano to discuss the 2nd Amendment, after responding to her concerns on Twitter. I firmly believe we as conservatives should continue to engage with people with whom we disagree, to ensure our world view is appropriately represented.

What we as conservatives do in the next 12 months will fundamentally determine the course of our nation for the next generation. More than ever before, this election will be a choice between freedom and socialism.

I believe in freedom. I know you do too.

This will be an opportunity to come together and discuss how we move forward to re-elect President Trump, elect conservatives to the US Senate, and restore our majority in the House.
