Join LULAC To Celebrate STEAM Day 2020 From Home!

Greetings,
National STEAM Day is November 8th and a great opportunity to recognize the
exciting fields and advancements within Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts,
and Mathematics (STEAM).
This year, LULAC will celebrate by hosting its own virtual exploration that
emphasizes the importance of Hispanic representation in STEAM. Through this
virtual event, students will navigate through our interactive website to explore
hands-on STEAM activities, hear the stories of inspirational role models, and
learn about the many opportunities in STEAM fields.
Educators, students and families are invited to join the celebration.
Additionally, students will have the opportunity to enter to win at-home STEAM
Kits and scholarships!

Details: LULAC’s STEAM DAY 2020 celebration will commence on November 8 and be
hosted through our website. The self-guided, interactive program will be
available for students and families to participate from the comfort of their
home! To be eligible to participate to win at-home STEAM Kits* to carry out your
own experiment at home and scholarships,** you must enter before November 16,

*Limited quantity of at-home STEAM Kits available and will be awarded on a
first-come-first-serve basis.
**Limited quantity of scholarships available and will be awarded through a
scoring process by an independent panel of judges.
