Dear Friend of the National Parks,
This year’s election results could mean monumental changes for all of us — and for our national parks.
The right to vote was hard earned by so many who came before us. And every person who voted in this election deserves to have their vote counted.
But while we wait for the results of this election, the work of protecting America’s national parks can’t wait. Right now, public lands surrounding parks are still being auctioned for oil and gas drilling. Drastically weakened wildlife protections make it harder for the most vulnerable animals and plants in our country to survive. And safeguards against air and water pollution are still being rolled back.
Which is why I hope you’ll make a generous gift today so together we can keep up the fight in this time of uncertainty.

We may not know when we’ll have the results of this election, but we do know there’s no reason to wait to take action for America's national parks. We must continue to work today, and every day, to protect the parks we love.
That’s because air and water pollution aren’t waiting for an election result. Because our parks still remain underfunded, and because oil and gas auctions are slated to continue in the weeks ahead.
The threats to our parks aren’t waiting — and we can’t either.
Even during these difficult years, we’ve shown that national park lovers know how to find common ground and win the tough fights.
With your support, that’s exactly what we’ll keep doing, no matter what comes next.
Please make a gift now to help us keep up the fight for America’s parks during this time of uncertainty.
With gratitude,
 Theresa Pierno President and CEO
P.S. Regardless of the outcome, it’s crucial we continue to show that fighting for park protections can unify people from all walks of life, just as it has for over a century. Your support today will keep up the fight and show that our parks truly transcend politics — thank you!
