We always knew this would be an uphill battle, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth trying. I have no regrets, and neither should you.
From the beginning of this campaign, we put the value of public education front and center. We talked about the importance of our public schools, and I would like to think we made my opponent think about how she can be a better advocate for our school communities.
Don't lose heart, now is the time to stay engaged: demand more from your elected officials, hold them accountable. Don't stop fighting.
