What to Know: Voting is over—but not the vote counting. It could be days before we finally know the outcome of this election.
The TPPF Take: Here’s what we do know—the legacy media, the Washington elites and especially their pollsters are relics of the past. And that’s where they should stay.
“A win by President Trump would hasten their demise,” says TPPF’s Kevin Roberts. “It would create a truly historic opportunity for the policies we have all fought for. In fact, I predict that the first 100 days of a second Trump term would see the launch of the most ambitious conservative policy agenda in American history.”
Reasons for Optimism
“Even if Vice President Joe Biden ekes out a win, there are many reasons to be optimistic about the opportunities in front of us,” Kevin continues. “The Trump moment will have sparked a major realignment, bringing working-class ‘Reagan Democrats’ into the conservative coalition. Our policies of low taxation, limited regulation, and law and order will only become more popular with this demographic. Similarly, the Trump moment will have become the Trump movement for African Americans and Hispanics, who supported Trump at record levels in this election. That provides a roadmap for how we advocate for our policies, and how conservative candidates can expand their reach.”

What happened to the “Blue Wave” that was going to put Democrats into power in Texas?
“The vaunted blue wave, even with all the out-of-state money that was injected into the election cycle, did not succeed (again),” Kevin notes. “If conservatives continue to expand their coalition of minority voters, and develop better messages for women voters, then the future is bright.”
Looking Ahead
TPPF’s litigation center will be ready to fight for Texans, no matter the outcome is.
“We will never stop fighting for the policies and values that we share with you,” Kevin said late, late last night.
