Team,
I want to thank each and every one of you for committing yourself to this campaign.
I'm beyond grateful for your support, and I wouldn't have made it this far without you.
Together, we built a people-powered campaign from scratch without corporate PAC money or political heavyweights backing us. We knew it wasn't going to be easy, and yet, you stood with me every step of the way.
Although we didn't get the results that we had hoped for last night, I'm not giving up hope for a brighter future.
The fact that we were able to make it as far as we did demonstrates the power that a grassroots campaign can have. We should consider that an accomplishment.
If this race has taught me anything, it's that nothing is impossible when you are fighting for fairness and equality.
I will continue to work hard to advocate for your rights and your healthcare, even if it's not in Congress. And I hope that you will do the same. Please continue to always use your voice and stand up for what's right.
So, we can be disappointed, but let's not be discouraged by this loss.
There is always hope. And our democracy only works when people like you continue to stand up for what you believe in.
Thank you for being on this journey with me and for giving this your all.
Quinn
