Dear John,
Last week, a video trending on Facebook made inaccurate claims about abortion care, and we were able to help stop it—temporarily. We need your help.
As our Fellow Dr. Robyn Schickler and Dr. Dan Grossman of ANSIRH, explain in their recent Washington Post op-ed, they used their professional training to fact check the video's harmful misinformation.

Anti-abortion activists were enraged over the fact check after Facebook flagged the video as false and several senators sent a public letter to Facebook complaining. Unfortunately, Facebook decided to disregard the opinion of expert physicians and “remove the relevant fact checks.”
This is why we're asking for your help today—lets fight for facts.
Tell Facebook Facts Matter
Just us in tweeting at @Facebook and share our op-ed in the Washington Post, to let them know that abortion is necessary health care and that they should reinstate Health Feedback's fact check immediately.
TAKE ACTION [[link removed]]
Facebook is a source of information for billions of people which is why it is critical that the online giant limit the reach of false and misleading information.
These lies have been repeated by policy makers who want to restrict and ban abortion. We are outraged that Facebook sided with politicians over doctors and disregarded their responsibility and commitment to accurate information.
Help us make it absolutely clear to Facebook: abortion IS health care. [[link removed]]
Thank you for taking action.
