Hi there, it's the evening of Election Day, and we're now waiting for the results of our race to trickle in. We're expecting this to be a long night and next few days because this could come down to just a fistful of votes.

But, I'm confident we'll pull through, and I can't help but think about just how grateful I am to be where I am.

Grateful because in these past two years, I've passed more legislation than any other freshman Democrat, and those bills had real impacts on people's lives.

Grateful because CA-48 elected a Democrat in 2018 for the first time in its entire history, and voters have continued to rally around us, regardless of party affiliation.

And grateful because you placed your trust in me and showed that you want me to lead our Orange County families through these next two years.

As we wait to hear the results of our race, I want you to know that you made a difference in this campaign, and that could make a difference for our county and our country.

Sincerely,

-- Harley
