Polls are closed in nearly all states, and results are coming in. President Donald Trump has won states in the South, Midwest, and northern plains, while Joe Biden has taken states in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Here are the some of the key races that have been called in the last two hours:
- Trump has won Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, and Utah, according to the Associated Press, and Biden has won California, Colorado, Oregon, the District of Columbia, New Hampshire, and Washington state. Check our map to track the presidential results in each state.
- US Senator Lindsey Graham in South Carolina has won his reelection race, according to the AP. Meanwhile in Colorado, Democrat John Hickenlooper has defeated Republican US Senator Cory Gardner, flipping the seat for Democrats. Track US Senate election results here.
- US Representatives Ayanna Pressley and Katherine Clark, both from Massachusetts, won their reelection races, according to the AP. Track US House election results here.
- Massachusetts ballot questions: Supporters of Question 1, which would expand the state’s "Right to Repair" law, have declared victory, and opponents have conceded. Results for the second ballot question, which would create ranked-choice voting, are still coming in.
