We voted. We need them to count every vote.
Fight for $15

John,

We voted.

We stood in long lines for hours. We raced to drop off our ballots. We called people we hadn't spoken to in years and got them to vote.

We overcame every barrier in our way to vote for higher pay, racial justice, and union rights. WE VOTED – and we broke voter turnout records.

Essential workers decided. We voted for a president who has promised to make a better future for our families possible. As final results roll in over the coming days (and even weeks!) we're taking to the streets TOMORROW to make sure that every single one of our votes are counted. Count. Every. Vote.

I voted in this election because even working full-time as a manager at McDonald's making $11/hr, I still don't make enough money to support my family. Workers like us voted because we're demanding that those in power Respect Us, Protect Us, and Pay Us! Now it's time to make sure that WE the PEOPLE get our votes counted.

Election officials are doing their job like they have in every election – and we're watching. It's up to us to demand that the will of the people is respected. Voting was the first step. Now we must ensure that we COUNT EVERY VOTE.
