Friend -- the polls have now closed. Now, we wait.

Here's what we know: Due to the new voting procedures in place because of COVID-19 and a record number of mail-in ballots, we're told we may not get official vote tallies for at least a few days.

As eager as we all are to get results, I am grateful for the extra effort and due diligence to make sure every voice is heard and every vote is counted.

Right now, I want to thank every single person on this team for every way that you've shown your support -- by volunteering, chipping in, talking about the campaign, and reaching out with advice and words of encouragement.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't tell you how much it means to me.

As we wait for results, I hope everyone takes a moment to get a little rest, recharge your battery, and buckle up for what's next.
